“Future medicine will be the medicine of frequencies.” — Albert Einstein
Our appearance is represented by our outer shell; the face, body and skin. This shell is our first line of nonverbal communication. Therefore, our outer shell holds an important role in our society as it can determine how we connect with other humans. How we are perceived, and how we perceive others. This affects important life decisions, such as landing a job or deciding if we go on a date with that person or not. Therefore, if we want to admit it or not, the improvement of our appearance is, to some degree, an important matter in our daily lives.
Videos about beauty and how to achieve it fill YouTube channels and Instagram reels alike. The human wish for good looks has allowed the beauty business to grow into a billion-dollar industry. The desire to be beautiful or the decision to go on a date with someone based on their appearance is not shameful and not vain. It is simply human nature. And beauty can come in so many different forms and shapes.
My approach to achieving beauty as a beauty professional and as a woman is simple – it is the improvement of the health of body, mind and spirit. In other words, to achieve beauty, be as healthy as you can. When you are your optimised healthy self from the inside, you are automatically beautiful. Many of us have health challenges that are not entirely in our hands, and that is okay. But we can do our best to be our best selves. This is in our hands.
Research revealed that beauty is perceived by the human eye when objects or subjects look harmonious and symmetrical. This phenomenon is even seen in babies, as they tend to smile more likely at people who have more symmetrical and harmonious facial features. We perceive nature, like flowers and animals as beautiful because their patterns and shapes follow a harmonious sequence and perfect symmetry. Symmetric and harmonious shapes and forms are the result of the work of frequencies. Frequencies shape the appearance of living objects. The frequencies we are exposed to, shape and impact our appearance.
ANCIENT BELIEFS
Harmony and order are desired by humans from the beginning of civilisation. Ancient Egyptians were obsessed with cosmic order and terrified of chaos. According to anecdotal evidence, Egyptians believed that chaos in the atoms is the origin of all diseases.
Each of your cells is made up of molecules; small chemical compounds that are a combination of different elements. Each of these elements is made up of spinning atoms. This creates a vibration that ripples out at a certain frequency. A frequency defines how often a soundwave travels through a certain point for a unit of time (frequencies are measured in Hertz). Egyptians believed that the body is in its best state when the atoms are vibrating in harmony and at the right frequency.
WE ARE BEINGS OF FREQUENCY
There are different sources and mediums which we can receive healing frequencies from, like various forms of energy or sound. Every single object of matter that exists in our universe carries a frequency. Humans, plants, other animals, rocks, the earth, the sun, etc.
Frequency healing through energy can be delivered via various mediums, like other humans through reiki or touch therapy and massage. We all have experienced the healing and comforting energy that dogs and other pets can transfer. Dolphin Therapy is based on frequency healing. Homeopathy is based on the healing power of the vibrational energy of plants, as well as flower essences (Bachblueten) and essential oils. The plants we eat also carry vibrational information.
The Earth’s frequency also called the Schumann frequency, resonates with the frequency 7.83Hz and can be felt by just being grounded on the Earth. Ever wondered why we feel so good when we are in nature? As we have evolved with the Earth’s frequency, our health is directly linked to the natural frequency of our environment. Those are easily disturbed by man-made electromagnetic frequencies (EMF). The Earth’s frequency of 7.83Hz is the same frequency that resonates with the sacred sound OM (the mantra of the third eye chakra) as well as the alpha and theta brainwaves. Those brainwaves promote a relaxed, dreamy mood and support cell regeneration. Theta brainwaves match the frequencies of a child’s brain resonance until they are about seven years old.
Crystals carry powerful healing frequencies, and their potent effects on human well-being are widely used in alternative healing therapies. The frequency of high-quality spring water is very healing and invigorating. Have you ever heard of the holy water of Lourdes? Water can store information about prayer, songs and loving words. That is the reason why we are so susceptible to frequencies, as our bodies are made of up to 75% water by weight.

FREQUENCY HEALING WITH SOUND
Sound is received by the ears as vibrations and converted to electrical impulses. These impulses travel via the nervous system to the brain. Once the frequencies of those vibrations have reached the brain, brainwaves are altered and a cascade of effects positively or negatively impacts the bodily cells. We have all felt the invigorating or calming effects of music or chills and goosebumps. There are six ancient healing sounds that were discovered by Joseph Puleo in the 70s. With the use of a Pythagorean method, he unravelled six mathematically encoded patterns found in the Bible. Those frequencies are called Solfeggio sounds and represent the notes Do - Re - Mi - Fa - So - La - Ti. The Solfeggio sounds are found to share their fundamental character with ancient Gregorian and Indian Sanskrit chants [1]. Each of the different sounds is meant to interact with the different vibrational energies of the body as they resonate with the different chakras.
A research team in Japan evaluated the effects on the stress response by using the healing Solfeggio frequency of 528Hz on nine subjects. They found that cortisol (stress hormone) levels significantly decreased and oxytocin levels (the love hormone) increased [2]. The note of 528Hz is also called the “love frequency” or “miracle note”.
A relatively new technology of frequency healing was recently realised with the development of modern devices, such as the “Healy” and “Spooky2”. I have a Healy device and can absolutely recommend it. The effects on well-being are instant and profound. No wifi or Bluetooth is needed to run the programs. Such devices are more costly than playing music and certainly do not appeal to everyone. Still, they are a wonderful addition to the healing modalities and are certainly loved by tech fans.
